Overview :
A complete product design project for the Emeril Lagasse Digital Hotplate, taking the product from early design development through refined CAD and final visualization. The focus was on creating a cohesive product experience that balances functionality, usability, material definition, and a strong visual identity.
Constraints :
The design needed to accommodate the functional requirements of a countertop cooking appliance while maintaining a clean and approachable form. Component placement, proportions, controls, material transitions, and manufacturing considerations were evaluated throughout the development process to create a product that felt both intuitive and refined.
Outcome :
The final design delivers a polished countertop appliance with a clear visual hierarchy, refined proportions, and carefully considered material and detail transitions. The completed CAD and visualization package provides a strong foundation for communicating the product to stakeholders, manufacturers, and customers.
